Title : Welcoming Ramadan

I.             Introductory paragraph

Introduction : Sentence 1 : Ramadan is one of  awaited moment of Moslems in the whole world. Sentence 2 : People will do various activities to welcoming Ramadan. Sentence 3 : Some people will gather with their family before Ramadan comes to celebrate this moment and enjoy the joyous activities, but some of them are not because of any reason. Thesis Statement : I do have some favorite activities to welcoming Ramadan in my hometown with closest people around me, especially my family and friends.

II.            Body

Paragraph 1 : Visiting relatives and neighbors Ø Topic Sentence : The first, I will visit my relatives and neighbors to asking forgiveness and bring them some cakes. -     Major Support : This tradition is aimed to maintain a good relationship among us, so we can entering this blessed month with pure heart after forgiving each other. -  Minor Support : I always feel excited to do this tradition because I can get in touch directly with my relatives and neighbors. -    Concluding Sentence : This moment gives me chance to reunited with my big family and neighbors.

Paragraph 2 : Cooking Rendang with mom. Ø  Topic Sentence  : The second one is cooking Rendang with my mom. -   Major Support  : Rendang is an essential dish which should be provided to welcoming special moment in my hometown, such welcoming Ramadan. -   Minor support : It takes long time until cook perfectly, usually my mom will ask me to accompany her in the kitchen to cooking Rendang. -     Concluding Sentence : This is bonding time for both of us because we have limited time to spend together.

Paragraph 3 : Cleaning home with siblings. Ø  Topic Sentence : The third one is cleaning home with my siblings. -      Major Support : We also have a chit chat and discuss many things while cleaning home. -      Minor Support : I enjoy to listen every knowledge and story they tell to me. -   Concluding Sentence : I feel thankful to have siblings like them because they always teach me anything that very useful for my future.

Paragraph 4 : Go to the river. ØTopic Sentence : The last one is the most fun activity which is go to the river with relatives and friends to take a bath a day before Ramadan comes. -      Major Support : This tradition is called Balimau. -  Minor Supports : This is also one of generation to generation traditions that still maintained until today in my hometown. -     Minor Supports : On this moment, We are not only go to the river for bathe but also eat together in the rice fields or riverside. -   Concluding Sentence : Walk on the rice fields together, bathing in the river together, and eat accompanied by sounds of nature together with friends are memorable activities for me before Ramadan comes.

III.          Concluding Paragraph :

My loveable activities to welcoming Ramadan in my hometown are spending time with my friends and family through visiting their house, cooking Rendang with mom, cleaning home with siblings, then go to the river to take a bath and eat together with friends a day before Ramadan comes . I tend to spend my time with them to welcoming Ramadan and create memorable experiences to be remembered over the times.
